Score Draw Music is a company started by me, Mark Gordon, in 2004.

Me, yesterday

My musical background started with forming a band in my teenage years that was lucky enough to record four Peel sessions. In my twenties I spent time as an artist on Bungalow Records of Berlin touring and performing across Europe with everyone from Royksopp to Peaches. It was during this time that a song I had co-written ended up being synced to the US television show Malcolm in the Middle, and from there the seeds of Score Draw were born.

Working in the studio

To date Score Draw has composed bespoke music and theme tunes for around 20 television shows (BBC 1 and 2, RTE 1 and 2, Sky One, Channnel 4, UK Style TG4 etc), as well as having music used on stuff like the BBC’s flagship magazine show “The One Show”. And we’ve written for lots of adverts, everything from premium drinks companies through to flagship trainer brands.

When I am not writing for Score Draw, I’m out and about playing everywhere from JAPAN and NEW YORK, to festivals such as BESTIVAL and GLASTONBURY with a musical project called SKIBUNNY. Skibunny remixes for some of the hippest labels in the UK, USA and JAPAN (people like MOSHI MOSHI, the UK label that launched Hot Chip, Bloc Party and Florence and the Machine) We’ve played shows with everyone from LCD Soundsystem and Erol Alkan through to touring with Har Mar Superstar; and have recorded with members of The Go! Team and Mercury-prize nominated artist Maps (Mute) for Skibunny singles and albums.
